For the second time this summer, Red Bull made a visit to the Future Grand Prix of America site and nearby landmarks to film some promotional footage which hopefully will make its way to the BBC F1 broadcast.
/DRIVE was on hand to film some great footage including a lengthy interview with David Coulthard.
Driven by Red Bull ambassador David Coulthard, the RB7 championship-winning car visited New York and drove through Liberty State Park, the Lincoln Tunnel and the streets of the race course, which winds through both Weehawken and West New York. Coulthard apparently hit 190 mph in the Lincoln Tunnel; a fact im sure to contemplate every time I'm stuck in there for 45min-1hour.
hats off to Red Bull and the Grand Prix of America promoters for pulling off these surreal PR stunts.
